cptdelorean Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 I have multiple years of experience as an AmeriCorps member, but because of my undergraduate major choice, i don't have any coursework in econ, history, govt, etc. what is the best way to address this (or do i just not address it, and focus more on my experience?) going for nonprofit studies, btw
ZacharyObama Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 I'd at most address it in passing. Focus on your strengths. Just my two cents.
cptdelorean Posted December 13, 2012 Author Posted December 13, 2012 is coursework that big of a deal, or is it just good to?
Sparky Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 I played my lack of coursework as part of the reason X program was such a good fit for me. "I am eager to take advantage of courses in [semi-obscure subject" (well, worded better), and in your case you could add something about backing up your experiences. It worked.
