dmiller7115 Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Sorry, I've never done this before and have had a hard time tracking this information down. I've applied to the top 5 aerospace engineering programs: Stanford, MIT, Caltech, GA Tech, and Michigan. -For those who have applied to these schools in the past, when do letters of acceptance/rejection get sent out? January? February? March? -Are they acceptance letters or invitations to interview? I've heard that the schools will fly you in on a weekend and you get to tour the departments and meet professors. Am I already accepted for sure at this point and I'm just trying to get paired up with a specific lab/professor? Or is it more of an interview and I'm only accepted if I am positively paired with a prof/lab. Thanks a lot for any bits of advice/experience.
RiseofthePhoenix Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 (edited) Navigate to the "Results Search" section of the site (tab on the top right) and type in your program details in the search box. You'll see when and how last year's applicants were notified. That is probably your best indicator of how the process will play out this time round. Edited December 22, 2012 by RiseofthePhoenix
