Most of my applications are not due until mid January, but I have a few that have to be mailed out by the first week, and I just have some last minutes questions/concerns for POIs and Grad Program Directors. Would it be rude to try and get in touch with them now? I have already made contact, interviewed, telephoned, etc with several of them all the way back in September, but I just recently discovered some professors with whom I would be very interested in taking  grad seminars, even if they are the same person as my POIs. I am not so much worried about not getting a response, considering the busy time of year, as a I am about the whole etiquette regarding emailing people at the end of December.

Any suggestions/input would be very much appreciated! Thank you all and happy holidays!

I meant to write, *"even if they're not the same person as my POIs." sorry about that, now the sentence makes more sense.

I'd say wait until after the holidays -- if faculty are checking their emails over break, they're likely just scanning through for really important or time sensitive correspondence -- your message is likely to get lost in the shuffle.  The best time to reach out is the end of the first week/beginning of the second week back.
