Can GRE official score arrive after the Berkeley EECS MEng/Cornell CS MEng's deadline

Does anyone have ever applied for these two programs and have such experience?

 

I need to retake GRE exam in Jan 2013, my score will be reported online before their application deadline(Feb 1 2013), I can submit my self-reported score in the online application, but my official score report from ETS may reach institution late for the deadline.

 

I'm wondering whether this situation is acceptable. Can my self-reported score be used for review purposes?

 

I have send to emails to their admission officiers, but no reply. (Maybe they all have Christmas vacation now)
