brown06 Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 (edited) Reapplying and I have a ton of new work, to be honest that I like much better than my old. Should I put a few oldies in to remind the faculty how my work has progressed, if so how many pieces. I am thinking 15 new, 5 old, but would like to push it to even 17 new, 3 old. thoughts? Anyone else proposing a basically new entire body of work, or done it in the past? if so how was it received? Here's my work, most on here is new from this year: www.DoraeliaRuiz.com and by the time I apply I plan to have at least 2 more. New work is page 1, some selected old work is page 2. Portra400120 Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 I am applying for a second time as well. I too have five (5) old and fifteen (15) new photographs.Previous graduate students in the programs I am interested in suggest the majority of the second application should be new work and to definitely include work from the first application as a reminder.
Onedayx3 Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 I am doing the same. My older work is more involved installations and project-based, so there are six images old, and 14 new.
