bicalix Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Hi, I'm applying for an MPP in Georgia Tech, Georgia State (MPA); UMass and Univ Oregon and I just received my GRE scores verbal 157, Quant 145 and 4.0 AWA. I am Portuguese, and I am applying to these colleges on a Fulbright Fellowship (so my essays and other submission material has already been throroughly evaluated by 2 different committees). Anyway, I have 1 year experience working for research Institute in the university where I took my bachelors (History), and I also have a Masters in European Union Studies 3 years working in policy analysis and evaluation of public programs for a consulting firm in Denmark. As I am currelty debating whether or not to go for a retake, I guess I just wanted some outside feedback... so help pleaseeee
iowaguy Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Is 23% percentile in Q enough to get into the MPP programs that you're applying to???
bicalix Posted January 2, 2013 Author Posted January 2, 2013 thats basically my major doubt I take it you vote for retake?
iowaguy Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 I don't know MPP and I'm not on a Fulbright, but in my field 23% Q would not cut it for acceptance into top schools... One thought would be to call the admissions office of those schools and ask if there is a GRE cutoff for admissions.
DaisyAdair Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 I don't know the specifics of your field, but yeah, I would retake the GRE.
