WWSdreams Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 (edited) Hello there, I am very interested in learning more about the MPA/ID program @ HKS from current students. How does the first year micro/macro sequence compare with first year Econ PhD courses? I am surprised that Real Analysis is not required for this program given that books like MWG/Romer are used. Does this mean the courses are not very theoretical like PhD econ courses? I know multivariable calculus is required- are the first year courses very mathematical? I graduated from school in 2007 with a degree in economics and am not super confident about my math skills. Thanks! Edited January 9, 2013 by WWSdreams
