This has been a really rough week, folks. 4 rejections in the last 7 days...

EDIT: Make that 5...3 of them today.

So if anyone else is feeling particularly down, I'm right there with you.

I feel your pain. I only applied to 4 schools and I was rejected from all. I wish I had known this year was going to be so tough! Good luck on your remaining schools

thanks for sharing the pain! same story at my end...4 rejections so far..see little hope for the remaining ones as i have been hearing about the bad times !

I've been rejected from all my ph.d programs (well, three de facto.. haven't gotten the letters yet, but the accepted people have heard already). Looks like I'm off to do a masters - maybe that'll help? I really don't want the debt though. :cry:

Don't give up yet!! You still have some apps you are waiting on. If it ends up you have to go the Masters route first, you could still get through with little to no money. I had full funding for my Masters. Power of the positive!! (
