Gryphon Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 I emailed the Grad School to ask about my application status yesterday, and here is the reply: "It is the policy of the Graduate School to notify applicants of their admissions status by written correspondence only. Unfortunately, we are unable to answer requests for this information by phone or email. We expect that all admissions letters will be mailed to applicants by March 15, 2009." so far I haven't got any news about the acceptances from any other applicants. but the word "Unfortunately" looks soooo wicked.
MDLee Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 ...not to hand you misplaced hope...but don't be paranoid. A lot of the bigger schools refuse to give an indication one way or the other until all notices go out. Sometimes this is because they have a list of "second string" candidates who would get the spots if someone they accepted did not pick them (and will otherwise get a reject notice). Don't stress. March 15 is coming soon enough
