I'm not an expert in this area, but those are two people I'm familiar with. Maybe Deirdre Royster at NYU, but I think her thing is more economic sociology. Maybe also Abigail Saguy at UCLA, though I don't think she has focused on the African American experience per se. Edited January 22, 2013 by Illusio80
