Seatbelt Blue Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 I'm a 28 year-old incoming grad student who was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, what would have been Asperger's under the DSM-IV, a few months back. I'm curious as to how any other autistic/aspie grad students have coped with the workload. I'm pretty confident in my ability to handle it, because I tend to get really weirdly focused in areas that interest me, and my graduate field of study certainly interests me, but I'm really wondering if anyone out there found unexpected areas of difficulty or good coping mechanisms for this whole graduate school experience.
