Canadians applying to American schools

Hi everyone! I just stumbled upon this site recently and am really loving the wealth of information on it. Also surprised by how easy it is to connect with people on here entering (or trying to enter) the same programs.

 

I am a Canadian applying for schools in the U.S., as Speech Pathology is too competitive for me to just apply in Canada (plus, I'd love to live somewhere new and exciting). I am applying to NYU, Columbia, MGH & BU. Anyone else in a similar situation? Would love to hear about any experiences thus far.
