Need Info on USC Annenberg/U of Miami Communication Studies

Hello everyone! I am looking into the programs at USC and U of Miami for communication studies, and wanted to know if anyone had experience with either program? How would you rate the rigor of the program, and how was your application process? Have there been successful applicants with less than stellar GREs or GPA?

I'm interested in USC's MA in Communication Management and Miami's MA in Communication Studies. I want to focus on political communication, and USC offers a Law & Policy concentration while Miami is more research-method oriented(from what I've seen on their websites.)
