slee51 Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Hey all, anyone applied to Dev.Psych PhD Programs at U of Chicago, Northwestern, and/or Cornell?? have you guys heard ANYTHING from them?
psych1118 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 I applied to Cornell and haven't heard yet. Although as far as I understand (and someone please correct me if I'm wrong!), they are housed in the Department of Human Development rather than the Department of Psychology. I'm hoping this is why applicants to other Psychology fields at Cornell have already heard and we have not.
eecandz Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 I also applied to Cornell and haven't heard anything. At one point, someone posted on the results page about hearing from Bonnie regarding interviews; however, they listed their results under the "Human Development, Ph.D." - I know that the human development department offers a Human Development and Family Studies degree as well as the Developmental Psychology degree, so perhaps they've not contacted those who applied for DevPsych?
phalanges Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 (edited) Northwestern had their recruitment / interview day on February 8th. U Chicago has a recruitment weekend this upcoming weekend, though I only know this info through a friend who applied. I assume that it is for Dev Psych. Edited February 12, 2013 by phalanges
