Sorry if this is a silly question, but what would you include in an email to an admissions counselor when requesting an info session/meeting. The director of the program is actually the boyfriend of a friend, so he told me to mention this in the email. Not sure what else I need to include. Should it be like a cover letter - stating my background, GPA, etc.? Or just a simple short email expressing my interest and stating my desire to meet.
