Forging relationship w/ Faculty for letter quickly?

Hello,

 

I will be applying to PhD programs this Fall and needed some advice on locating a third recommender. My first recommender will be a professor for whom I am doing research, while my second is my faculty advisor. However, how can I get to know a faculty memeber quickly (i.e. in the next 7 months) in order to secure a decent 3rd and final letter of recommendation? Keep in mind my classes are large.
