alliehewitt89 Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 I have scheduled an interview with the Admissions Advisor at Michigan State University's MSW Program and I have a few questions about it. My first question is, since their GPA requirement is a 3.0 and my undergraduate GPA is a bit below that, should I email the Admissions Advisor asking whether or not this will automatically disqualify me for admissions into the program? I am curious because it wouldn't make sense to drive there for the interview just to be told that I would be rejected. Also, if he agreed to interview me in the first place, do you think he looked over my application file (not really sure how that works) and decided to go ahead and interview me? If so, then it might be something that could work in my favor and give me the opportunity to explain why my GPA was low (which was due to an extremely tumultuous family situation). If there is anyone who could help me with these questions, I would greatly appreciate it
