Hello everyone. I´ve been offered admission to this program and I would like to get some advice on the program´s reputation, academic rigour and career opportunities... Anyone? :/ Thanks!

I received admission to Heller's MBA program as well. I also have not heard much from the school other than what I've heard from the school directly. However, I visited the campus recently and spoke with some of their staff. They were incredibly nice and helpful and got me quite excited about the program. A few tidbits I picked up:

- the number of students who are pursuing a pure MBA (not dual-degree) are about 20.

- the MBA students are largely from the US, but there are opportunities to take classes with those pursuing MA/ID which is largely an international crowd. Most MBA students remain in the US for jobs.

- Heller is ranked top 10 in social policy and has previously been ranked higher except someone in administration for some reason didn't fill in proper forms for a few years.

- the Heller MBA classes are largely separate from the International MBA that Brandeis also offers.

- classes generally take up four days a week and is quite a bit of workload. some students also take light internships, but not much more than that during the school year.

Overall, the community sounded great, and the campus is beautiful, located in suburban Boston. I will make a decision in April, once all my other school results are in, but Brandeis is definitely in the running for me, even if I get into all my other schools.
