SkyStrike Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 Hello all, I am under consideration for a couple different Master's programs in international affairs, national security and government. We all know with the job market today it is hard to obtain employment in this field (and is why many of us are going back to grad school). But do people you know that have obtained these degrees ever encountered the same graduate unemployment problems, or for the most part, did they find the opportunities they sought and obtained work relevant to their field afterwards? Was it dependent on language skills, foreign travel and the like? Did the internship make or break their opportunities? Or is the MA degree itself the strongest aspect of the job application? Thank you in advance.
