Caesar Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Hello all! If anyone here is familiar with ISU or TAMU's Statistics Ph.D. program I was hoping for a bit of advice on which one to pick. I don't necessarily care about program rankings (TAMU is much higher in US News, while ISU is much higher in NRC rankings). ISU is offering a bit more funding and the cost of living is less expensive, but I believe TAMU has a slight advantage with my potential research interests (big data, machine learning, stochastic processes). Any opinions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
Caesar Posted March 3, 2013 Author Posted March 3, 2013 I received the offer via email during the week of February 25th.
