HallieMac Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Does anyone know if there are any Speech Path programs in Cali that are still accepting applications?
fsustar83 Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Not that I know of, especially the public schools. Check out some of the private schools, they are more likely to have rolling admissions.

Which private schools in CA would have rolling admissions please? Also, what is the normal time or shall I say the best time to apply for CA publics schools to have a fighting chance? Is it better to apply early? If so, when? I am thinking about in particular SDSU, San Marcos and the online program at Northridge.

Application materials deadlines for the following Fall admission season are typically posted around October/November. Go to the ASHA website and look for ASHA certified schools in CA, then go to each school's respective website to see if they have rolling/late/Spring admissions. From there you'll be able to independently gauge your options.
SpeechBanana Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 IIRC, none of the privates have rolling admissions (Chapman, Redlands, University of the Pacific). And the southern CA CSU's also do not. CSUN's distance learning, online program starts Summer instead of Fall, so you can apply earlier than the next fall season. CSUF has spring admission, but I have heard that may be canceled for the next year due to budgeting issues. I'm not familiar with the northern CA CSU's.
