Anyone rejected from Rice Stat?

Emailed Rice Stat PhD program yesterday about application status.  They said they've sent out the first-round of offers and I have to wait until the second round.  I don't know how to react to this update.  To panic or what...  I am just curious has anyone received rejection from Rice?  Or is it just that Rice just hasn't sent out rejection at all?  And this will-be-considered-for-the-second-round thing just doesn't mean anything at all.

 

I am soooooooo frustrated!!!  My husband is at Houston right now.  So I want to get into Rice soooooooooooooo bad, just to put an end this long-distance thing.  So to those who got offers from Rice, if you are not attending, please decline soon... T^T
