Aomsin Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 I applied for University of South Carolina and a couple of days ago I checked my status and found that application status was recommend, but the admission decision was decision pending. Today I recheck it again and found that my application status is decision and my admission decision is still decision pending. Can anyone tell me what does it mean? I start to feel nervous and frustrated right now.
sweetpearl16 Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Recommend means that the graduate admissions committee for your department has recommended a decision as to whether or not you have been accepted. Out of curiosity, have you seen any acceptances for the South Carolina program to which you applied? If you haven't, there is a good chance that these status changes mean that you have been accepted, as the acceptances seem to show up in South Carolina's system before the rejections.
Aomsin Posted March 6, 2013 Author Posted March 6, 2013 Thank you sweetpearl 16, I have seen 1 person get accepted from this program. He/She has been interviewed by the committee while there are another 2 persons got the same status like mine.
