master or phd first?

Any one know that the graduate school send the master offer first or Ph.D. first?

I applied the PHD program in Child and Family Studies, University of Tennesse. I've seen two applicant report their acceptance to the master program on the "Result Search", no one posted the acceptance/rejection from the doctoral program. I haven't hear anything from the program yet.

 

Do they accept master students first?

It varies a lot based on the school. The schools I have experience with all send their PhD acceptances out before their masters.
