Indiana MPA/MSES vs. UCSB Bren MESM.

 

Received no founding information yet.  Love the MPA program and its reputation of SPEA. Also love the eco-entrepreneurship program at Bren. 

 

Any thoughts?

I know I'm responding to a post that's over a year old, but here's my two cents. I had the same dilemma. I was accepted to both the Bren School MESM program as well as the SPEA dual degree program. I think both programs are very highly regarded. However, I ultimately chose to go with Indiana. Ultimately my decision was based on what I'd like to do following a masters degree, which is to get a Ph.D. The Bren School masters degree is focused on getting you straight into the workforce. For continuing education I feel that Indiana would give me a better leg up. But it all depends on what you want to do. If I wanted to go straight into the workforce following the two years of a masters degree then I probably would have gone to UCSB.
