I cant decide between two programs - an accelerated 1 year Bachelor of Journalism in Halifax or a two year Masters of Journalism in Toronto. I've lived in Ontario before but not in Eastern Canada and I don't really know what job opportunities are like and if it will be easier to get a journo job after graduation because it is a smaller market (so less competition) or if Toronto will still be better. I'm interested in broadcast (TV) journalism and print and will hopefully be able to decide which way to go while in j-school. Anyone have thoughts on either cities? Or getting another Bachelors vs a Masters?

If you then decide to do a masters that is a total commitment of 3 years. You could always live in Toronto and then move to a smaller market. Ontario has the added benefit of having many more smaller markets than Nova Scotia.
