Anyone thinking they will choose University of New Mexico?  I saw a post from someone on the results page about visiting and not liking it...anyone else have any opinions?

I saw that post too, I posted asking them to come to the forums to elaborate! I received an acceptance from UNM, and really liked what I saw about their program from their website, etc. Thats a shame :/

First of all, congrats to you both on all your acceptances!! I too, was accepted into UNM and am greatly considering going there. One thing I want to point out is that you must be careful what you read online ANYWHERE!! Most of the time you will either read reviews on schools that are in the extremes ie; "I LOVE it, or I HATE it", so that is something to take into consideration!

Anyway, I am currently emailing a grad student in the program at UNM asking her a whole bunch of questions. I am probably annoying her by now lol, but I want to make sure I don't regret this big decision. People keep telling me to visit which I will probably end up doing as well! I have heard nothing but good things on my end here in CA though!

Sorry I couldn't provide more "concrete" info on the program but I hope this sheds some light on the issue. Did any of you receive a scholarship of GA?
