headingnewzealand Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 struggling to make a decision between these two options... I am an international student. GPPI does not offer me financial aid, but says funding may be available in the later admission process. Ford school at U Michigan says information of scholarship will be released next week, don't know whether I can get some. The cost for GPPI is really expensive, yet it has the perfect location at DC. Does anyone know the situation of job placements for international students at GPPI? Someone says that MPP at ford is strictly academic and has strong emphasis on quantitative courses. But I also find the MPP curriculum at GPPI has good quantitative core courses. I am actually quite interested in policy analysis for urban or social policy. And I am planning for a phd after the master degree, so I am quite wondering which school would be a better choice for me? Could anyone give me some advice? Thanks a lot!!!
MPPgal Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 Im in the same boat but LBJ vs GPPI, currently visitng Austin and loving it....plus amazing financial aid and also want to do a phd....would love an answer
