essli Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Hi, Here's my situation. Last year, I had applied to a program and I didn't get accepted but they had offered to give applicants feedback. I was told by the graduate program officer that I should call the program director (because he has a bad habit of not replying to emails :S) to set up a meeting to go over my application and see where I could improve. Coincendently enough, I was going through a personal matter at the time and ended up taking a year off from applying to grad school again, but now I'm ready to get back into it. So, this past Thursday, I called the Program Director and ended up leaving a message on his voice mail expressing my interest in applying to the program again and if he was willing to meet with me to go over my application. Two days have past and haven't heard back. Also, I can't recall if I left my phone number, ugh very stupid of me I know! So I'm wondering if I should call this Monday again or if I should wait a day or two? I completely understand he may be busy, so that's why I'm thinking maybe I should just wait another day? What are your thoughts/suggestions??? Thanks in advance!
PsychGirl1 Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Schools are in the middle of figuring out their incoming class for the next year- he is probably swamped with a billion other things. I'd probably wait a bit and then shoot him an email, despite his rep. If you don't hear back from either, I'd call again in the spring or summer when he's likely less busy.

Thanks for replying back with your suggestion! I ended up calling him back and was able to talk to him! He was busy as I had assumed and had mistaken me for another student who has a similar name as mine. But it all turned out okay and I'll be meeting him this week! Anyways, thanks again
