skim Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 I have no idea which school I want to attend...I was admitted to both PhD programs with full funding, and I like both - but for different reasons. Indiana's SLS program is a lot more broad with a number of faculty in areas ranging from syntax to assessment. However, Maryland's SLA program is exactly what I'm interested in (heritage language learning, implicit/explicit, processing). Main cons are Indiana's credit requirement (90 total - 3 years) and Maryland's faculty number (5). For Indiana, I would be teaching ESL classes. As for Maryland, I would be working at a departmental office. Any thoughts or suggestions? I would appreciate any kind of feedback or help! I'm really stuck, and I have to make my decision in a couple of weeks!!
