yacobito Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Anyone headed to BU this year? Anyone going to the graduate open house for accepted engineering graduate students. Looks like they have some fun stuff planned.
highered_3 Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Anyone headed to BU this year? Anyone going to the graduate open house for accepted engineering graduate students. Looks like they have some fun stuff planned. I'm considering it. I visited in the fall and loved Boston a whole bunch (campus was OK, nothing spectacular). I'm just hoping to hear about $$$. I'm leaning towards Syracuse but if BU gives me the funds, then...hey, Boston here I come, haha.
yacobito Posted March 18, 2009 Author Posted March 18, 2009 Boston is great city. I have been living in Cambridge, MA for a couple years now and love it. Always something to do. If you end up coming to BU and need housing advice let me know. I can help with where to and not to live, those kinds of things. Good luck with your decision!

Indeed, it looks exciting!
tedjj Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 I just accepted an offer from BU. Now I gotta finish my undergrad and find a place to live in Boston:D
yacobito Posted April 23, 2009 Author Posted April 23, 2009 Anyone else heading to BU this fall? Big win the Terriers Ice Hockey Team - National Champs!
Stories Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 BU rules. BU was my undergrad and master's. Lovely place. Hockey is sports culture there. But there's not a lot of sports culture.
leetchisgod Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 BU is okay. The only great thing about BU is broomball and the ultimate frisbee team. I went to the school of management and I can fairly honestly say that its pratty student body is unfairly favored over other schools.
yacobito Posted May 12, 2009 Author Posted May 12, 2009 I am actually pretty excited to play broomball. It looks hysterical and fun.
