Pushing them apparently doesn't work, what shall I do?

Hi everyone,

 

I NEED your help. I am an international student and have received several offers but the one I feel the most interested in hasn't notified me anything. I have sent e-mails to the director of the program, its professors and the staff who assists the administration process yet I have got no response.

 

Then I managed to make a phone call to ask the staff and he said he didn't know anything about the admission decision and advised me to approach the director directly. So I called the director and she told me to request information from that staff, who I had already contacted but offered nothing, saying that it is the staff who is relaying the information of admission decisions to the candidates.

 

Now I feel like getting lost . I definitely should answer the other programs by  15th, April. I think I have told them my concern but it does not help. What else can I do?

You can wait until April 14th, and if you don't hear anything by then, assume you were rejected and accept your best offer. That's what I will do if I can't get info from my last two schools.

Yes I would advise to wait as well and try contacting them again next week. I am currently in the same situation, have been contacting 3 schools several times, and they promise to have an answer soon...so I will try getting back to them if I don't hear back by midweek.

Just contact them again. I've found it hard to count on any of their promise. BTW if I pay the deposit for another program in the same university, can I still be admitted to the program I like the most? Only three days left. Oops...
