M.A. in Mental Health Counseling VS M.A. in Counseling Psychology (advice needed)

Hello all,

 

I applied to 10 Ph.D programs, and got rejected by all :'(

I'm taking this as a sign saying that I need more experience before I go into Ph.D Program.

 

I got accepted to a couple masters program.

 

One is Counseling Psychology at U of Kentucky 

and the other is Mental Health Counseling at Boston College.

 

I read some people say BC is using MHC program ans cash cow and what not, but I want to hear what others have to say.

 

if I wanted to go to ph.d program, which program should I choose?

 

Also, if there's anyone out there attending BC, please share your experience.
