GRE studying

I plan on taking the GRE in july. I'll be enrolled in a prep course and it ends in the middle of the month so i wanted to take the test right after it. My question is, should i beging studying now on my own?

Any other advice would be appreciated

It definitely wouldn't hurt to begin studying now. I took a Kaplan math course, and I would have gotten a lot more out of it if I had begun refreshing math concepts on my own beforehand.

 

And if you want more practice after taking the prep course, I highly recommend Barron's 6 Practice Tests.

I suggest that you start by taking a practice test. 

Who knows, you may already have what it takes to reach your target scores, in which case you don't need a course to prepare.
