How to Officially Respond to University of Maryland

I sent E-mails to the relevant people awhile ago, but unlike my other schools I can't find a way to formally accept/decline.  Are my E-mails sufficient, or am I missing an important step here?

I also ran into this problem and simply emailed the DGS for my department. I didn't hear back from them, but I was declining so maybe they had nothing to say to me.
