Anyone waiting for Austin CS PhD and CMU ECE PhD?

I've called and emailed both of them and they said they are still reviewing my file and encouraged me to consider other options. Did anyone get an admission after April 15th? It's very frustrating to just hear that they are still reviewing.

 

I asked for the extension to one of the school I got accepted and got extension but I am very nervous about this situation. Should I just accept the offer and forget about Austin and CMU?

I got an admit to UT Austin (CS, PhD) on the 12th. It's not after the deadline, but close enough for me to think that there could still be hope for you to hear something. If you already have an acceptance and an extension you might as well wait it out til the end.

Thank you for sharing your experience BabaYaga. They said they'll give me two more weeks to accept the offer but her tone on the voice felt a bit irritated. She told me I should finalize my offer as soon as I decide so that they can give offer to other guys. They gave me extension but I'm kind of worried and nervous that they will revoke my funding. I don't think this thing will happen but kind of nervous because the April 15th has already passed.

 

The reply from UT Austin and CMU were also kind of negative. I'm thinking of waiting just one more week and then I'll accept the offer.
