Hi all,

I have been admitted to USC's MS in Computer Science.

I would like to know about current research going on in the field of databases, data mining and ML in this university.

I have visited the site and got to know that they have added a new specialization 'Data Sciences' under MS in CS which have courses listed in it which are falling in line with my area of interest but my only concern is that this been a totally new specialization (added this year only), will have any negative impact while trying to find job after school?

Also, seeing the very high cost of study in USC, is it worth attending with consideration to ROI. What is your overall review of USC  and/or MS in CS at USC?

USC - specific questions will get better answers from current students and graduate staff (professors, directors, etc) than here

ok guys.. Thanks.

I am a newbie here. So can you guys provide me pointers about how to get in touch with the current students because when I go through the website of USC CS dept they have only listed the Phd students, not the MS students. So I am not able to track anyone..
