I have heard that 4 classes for grad school is tough. I have no commitments to a job so I would like to take four one of which is an online course. I have to take this course and I like the subject. My question is how hard is an online course in your experience or opinion? I have taken them in undergrad but I am not sure how different or difficult it would be to do it.

*side note* I am taking 4 courses possibly three this fall because I have a little wiggle room but I plan to get my masters in a year. I don't have to do a thesis and I will continue on to my PhD after that.

I took a graduate-level online course through Harvard Extension School while working. I thought it was quality. It wasn't "hard" but it did take a few hours a week to "participate" on the online forums, watch the lecture videos, and then write the term paper at the end as well as a few other reaction papers. If you don't have a job, it should be very easy to do 4.
