engant Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 My problem is this: I've been accepted to Delaware's MA program (funded), and arranged to go to the recruitment weekend. The day before my flight, I get accepted to my dream school (NYU) Masters w/no money. Also, I've racked up many unexcused absences from profs who have promised to fail anyone who goes over the limit (or misses three quizzes--which I have, from attending other weekends). So, afraid of failing a class (I need to graduate), I cancel my ticket. Is this seen as turning Delaware down? Can I find out if I get financial aid w/o commiting to NYU?

Delaware is not going to rescind your acceptance because you didn't attend visiting weekend, and I don't think anyone gets funding from NYU for the MA unless it's outside funding.
