UVIC BSW

Hi,

has anyone that applied to the BSW at UVic heard back yet? The guidelines said end of april to early may but the waiting feels like forever!

I'm still waiting on them too. I really hope I get in, its the only BSW program I applied to but I thought it was a really good match for me. And I love Victoria. I just feel that my marks were kind of low.....so I don't know. And also, how are they letting us know? Email? Mail? Ugh, so stressful. I wish they would just reject and get it over with.

The waiting feels like so long, its already early may and they havent said anything, their website said they will let us know by mail but i have also been checking the uvic application status website and it still says application has been forwarded for review.

Yeah. It's really stressing me out!  Also, my status says "file forwarded to department" wonder if that's different from your "forwarded for review" cuz mine did change from that one. I started off really happy with how quick they processed my application now its just waiting waiting waiting. ugh. i'm trying to stay calm...

Hey guys,

I was accepted to the BSW program at UVic for Sept.'13.

My online status changed to "Dept. Decision: Selected" on April 29th and I received my package in the mail on May 3rd along with an email that same day...

Did you apply for on campus or online? I really wish they would just reject me already. I'm pretty sure I' m not in, but the little chance I could be is really stressing me out.

I will be completing my degree through distance. Maybe they are letting distance applicants know first before on-campus applicants? Not sure!

Hang in there! I know how stressful this is, I've tried to get into programs before and the wait is agony!

thanks for letting us know snc! since you already found out on april 29th I dont think I was accepted, although i did apply for on campus. i just wish i would get my final descision! i have been checking my status way too many times each day.

Well I found out I was waitlisted...does anyone know how big the waitlist is, and what are my chances?

 

Waitlisted is so awful.....Now I have a little bit of hope but also don't want to get my hopes up!!
