Mechanical Engineering, PhD TAMU vs University of Minnesota

I have received admission to the PhD program in Mechanical Engineering from TAMU and University of Minnesota for Fall 2013. I have not received any funding from both the places as of now.

Could someone suggest the pros and cons of both the universities and help me choose my grad school.
