munevvar Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 (edited) Hello all! I'm currently wrapping up my final year of undergrad and am in the process of applying to a masters program in Biochemistry. I've asked 2 professors for LoRs, one has already submitted her LoR, and as for the other... well I did tell him only 2 weeks prior to the due date (I had only found out about the program at that time) and he said that he would try, but he couldn't promise. I completely understand that he is perhaps swamped with grading papers and such, but is there a way to politely ask if he had a chance to write it without seeming to naggy, for a lack of a better word? The due date is May 15th and I know that it's only a few days. I just hesitated to ask him because he didn't promise and mentioned that he was bringing the semester to a close. My other professor completed her LoR today in just 2 hours and so I'm sort of hoping if I remind him now while it's still the weekend, maybe he'd be more receptive to writing it. I really appreciate the advice! Edited May 11, 2013 by munevvar
