UndecidedMan Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Has anyone attended or heard information about this program? It is offered under the Education department. http://education.uic.edu/images/documents/coe/MESA_Flyer_Online.pdf I'm considering applying for it, but wanted some feedback on it.
Ozymandia Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Hi there! I was in the UIC MESA program MEd program - I loved it, and ended up switching to the PhD MESA program. Tuition is generally less expensive than other programs in Chicago, and courses are held online or at night. The professors are really engaging, and the coursework is very applied. What would you like to know?
crystalc Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 Hello - this post is quite old, but I'm hoping any feedback is still valid. I'm currently considering the MESA program and wanted to get some opinions on how it may fit into my plans. I'm considering going into social psychology but haven't decided exactly what my ideal role will be. I do know that I want to combine my current experience (industrial engineering, loads of data analysis, etc). with future work. I saw this program as a good segue way to doing research in different areas of psychology. Does this seem like a fair though process? Thanks, Crystal
