Alessandro Rotatori Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Hi everyone, I apologize in advance of someone else already posted such a question. I'm willing to start a PhD in Computational Statistics fall 2014, but since I'm from Italy and I'm not used to US university rankings by subject and the quality, could you please help me understanding what are some of the best choices, maybe the ones more willing to accept non-US students? I'd like to come up with various options to apply for in order to increase the chance of being admitted. Thank you in advance, and if you have other advices I'd be glad.
cyprusprior Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Carnegie-Mellon comes to mind. I actually was lucky enough to meet one of their PhD students who was from Italy, so you wouldn't be the only one! http://www.stat.cmu.edu/
Alessandro Rotatori Posted July 17, 2013 Author Posted July 17, 2013 Thanks Decaf, other suggestions?
