Do I need GRE to study Masters of Fine Art (MFA)

I doubt it. But look at the websites of the schools you're interested in. Most likely you'll need to submit an in depth portfolio. I have some friends in creative writing MFAs and they had to submit like a 50 page sample of their work. I heard they're extremely selective too

I think most programs (even MFA) require GRE general, but I'd say that if there's any program for which one could say it's just a formality, it's probably MFA...
