NCAR823 Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 Hey everyone, I was called in to interview for a research assistant position and figured it was an opportunity to explore interview techniques, especially as a point of reference for when we get invited to Grad School interviews. I have little experience doing research and want this opportunity to fill the slot on my résumé. It's a longitudinal study on ADHD with a psychological emphasis. Anyone have any tips on valuable information to review before I go in? I have a book on ADHD, which I plan to read, and tons of experience. However, I have no idea what to expect: what kinds of questions will be asked, how to dress, etc. Interviews have always been a strength because I am articulate, but not knowing crucial information may counteract my ability to speak clearly. Commentary on interviews not related to research positions are welcome!
