Literature Translation Interest

I'm graduating from UNC-CH this December with a degree in Biology and minor in Spanish. But, the idea of translation really fascinates me. I'm interested in Biblical Languages and Arabic. With no previous background, any recommendations for career paths in this field? Schools to check out? Funding? Thanks!

You might try the Religion subforum regarding ideas for Greek, Hebrew, and possibly Arabic.  If you're a Christian, you could look at organizations that do Bible translation work in the field, though this is not everyone's cup of tea for a variety of sometimes controversial reasons.
