kandice9879
Hi all, I am in a huge bind right now and could really use some advice. I previously took the GRE and did poorly. Honestly, I am not good with standardized tests and I've never been one to do well. I got a 21 or 22 on the ACT when I took it many years ago (just some background info). My GRE scores are 145Q and 152V 4.5AW. I am about to begin applying to graduate schools for Fall 2014 PhD clinical psych programs. I have a feeling that most, if not all, of you will advise me to retake the GRE. But my fear is that, what if I end up doing worse, or about the same?! I'll have wasted $200 and feel hopeless, ha! Money is a huge concern. I'll be applying to approximately 10 graduate schools in hopes of having a higher chance of getting accepted. My undergrad GPA is 3.8....any feedback will be greatly appreciated! I am begining to go into freak-out mode lol! Thanks!
DeleteMePlease
You cannot do worse as there is ScoreSelect which allows you to send only the scores you choose.
aridneptune
$200 is a very small investment in your future. Your worst enemy is self-doubt.
kandice9879
Haha, it's not a small investment when you have no money to spare!! But I've decided to retake the exam. I am shooting for perhaps october 26th. I haven't actually looked to see availability because I cant afford to actually pay for it right now, so wish me luck!
