gellert Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 I feel like I'd read somewhere on this board that transcripts and GRE scores could get lost if they didn't already have a file open on you (via you starting or submitting your finished application), but that doesn't entirely make sense to me. So my questions is: Can I start sending GRE score reports and transcripts now, even though I haven't started my applications? (I want to fill in my applications all in one go, toward the end of my process.)
fuzzylogician Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Yes, you can. The admissions office will open a file for you when the first batch of materials (e.g. GRE scores or transcripts) arrives. Of course there is always a (small) possibility that things will get lost, but I don't think there is any particular reason to expect that GRE scores are more likely to get lost than your CV or SOP.
