Has anyone heard about CUNY cultural anthropology?

I called and was told decisions have been made, so I emailed the dept chair but have heard nothing back.

yeah..i was accepted like a week and a half ago. they notify late coz of their january intersession.

I applied to the Archaeology program and still haven't heard anything.

my advisor told me that i was accepted , i am so excited! i guess they take a while to send out the mailings.

keep your head up! they seem to be VERY slow with the notifications, if it wasn't for my advisor's email I would still be waiting and freaking out. Good Luck!!!!!!!!! :wink:

unfortunately, I heard back - and it was a no. Which actually means I'm at the end of the line, rejected from 5/5 schools. but it's okay. at least now i can move on to plan B and prepare for next years apps!

sorry to hear that, too.

i was accepted but with no funding at all, so i had to say no. =/

it was originally my first choice, but i know a lot of students at the center and they struggle to make it. many are working multiple jobs and teaching courses and barely taking full-time credits.

I just wanted to let you guys know- after I got my PhD rejections, I applied to the Mailman School of Public Health for an MPH in Social Science Research and was accepted! Thankfully, my story has a happy ending after all.
